In an unprecedented sweeping vote the Washington State Legislative assembly passed a bill which would make farting on Public Sidewalks a misdemeanor and punishable with a fine of $500 for the first offense and possible jail time for subsequent offenses.
The law establishes a tipline to call to report violators. 1-866-NO-STINK. Reports can be made anonymously. Governed Inslee is expected to sign the bill into law next Friday in the presence of the Anti-Farting Advocacy Group.
