Nicotine Detected in Popular ALC Desserts, Recall Issued

If you have ever eaten a Devilish Cupcake from the ALC Market in Woodtown, Ohio and and instantly became addicted, there may be a good reason for that. Yesterday, ALC Market self-reported to the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Food & Drug Administration that several batches of their world famous Devilish Cupcakes could contain amounts of nicotine, after an empty 2-ounce bottle of pure nicotine was discovered in a cabinet containing ingredients for the pastries. As a result, ALC has voluntarily recalled all items from their bakery purchased in the last month.

The ODA and FDA did not return comment as of this writing.
