NJ Transit threatens to strike as early as Monday

Hundreds of NJ Transit engineers and drivers have threatened to walk off the job as early as Monday, potentially shutting down the state’s bus and train system and disrupting hundreds of thousands of commuters in New Jersey

Transit Union Local 1764, which represents about 600 workers in the state bus and rail system, said a job action, up to and including a strike, is likely if the union does not reach an agreement this week.
