No more filming in Florida!

A new law goes into effect September 31st, 2017 that will essentially make it a misdemeanor to film in Florida. Even more severe, if you are caught hiding filming in public spaces you can be charged with a felony and face hefty fines or even jail time.

Violet Painbrusch, a spokesman for the Washington Public Health Organization states, “filming should be held only in Hollywood!. At first it is just one place or then another and they took over and film crews trashed our state. Before you know it, there will be so much filming going on people will not be able to take their own home videos”

A former “film maker”, who wishes to remain anonymous, told reporters that for her it started out as a “…fun family activity. After only a few weeks, I was forgetting to feed my kids, clean the house and do the laundry or dishes. I couldn’t sleep. And when I did finally fall asleep, I went to sleep thinking about new films that I wanted to make and editing I needed to do I became completely obsessed.”

State health officials urge residents to contact their local law enforcement immediately or call 800-FILMHLP if they know someone who has lost control because of this new craze and especially if there are children involved.
