Missouri lottery officials state, Marilyn Barton of Peace Valley, has won $100,000 on a scratch off ticket.
Barton said she and her husband went to West Plains to get some chicken feed and a few groceries. She said on their way out of town they stopped at Casey’s General store on St. Louis Street in West Plains to get gas. She decided to buy a $5 scratch off ticket, but waited until she got home to scratch it off.
Barton said she put away her groceries and unloaded the chicken feed before scratching off the winner. She said they plan on saving the money for a rainy day.
