Pensacola teen survives shark attack

Cameron Rettig, 19, was bitten in the head by an unknown type of shark while swimming at Pensacola Beach. He required 27 staples to close the wound. He has since moved to Newnan, Ga. “I’ve always been a fan of the beach but it may be a while before I go swimming again” he said. Emergency personnel were able to retrieve one of the shark’s teeth that was stuck in the wound. Mr. Rettig is awaiting a big, honking gold necklace to hang the tooth on.
