Portland has been rumored to have interest in Knicks Forward Carmelo Anthony, and were willing to part ways with anyone besides Lillard and McCollum. Whether there was any truth to that or not, Portland has moved on and has decided to part ways with its star, sending him to join Giannis Antentokounmpo in Milwaukee.
Portland took a pretty big risk by taking on Jabari Parker who is recovering from his second ACL injury, and won’t be back until late February. However, the Portland franchise must have faith that Parker will return just as explosive as he was, if not better. Milwaukee, on the other hand, has given Giannis his sidekick in Damian Lillard, making them the biggest threat for LeBron and the Cavs in the awful Eastern Conference.
