An 18-year-old man was killed early Sunday morning approximately 3:30 a.m. after his car was struck by a suspected drunk driver in a crash east of Newbug.
Merlin J. Malone of Rolla was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck at The P intersection, and Newburg road.
The state patrol says Malone was driving a Chevy Silverado westbound on P when he was hit by an eastbound Chevrolet Trailblazer that tried to turn in front oncoming traffic.
