Rural Stigler Okla. Woman Wins Lottery

STIGLER, Okla., July 17 (UPI) — A lucky Powerball player from rural Oklahoma purchased a ticket worth $420.9 million, Oklahoma Lottery officials announced Sunday.

The $2 ticket was bought in Muskogee, a town of 30,000 residents located 35 miles north of Stigler, officials said.

The winning ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing in Oklahoma City, Okla., 17-19-21-37-44, Powerball 16.

That large sum of money belongs to Brenda Sellers, a customer service manager from Stigler in Haskell County. After finishing her shift last week, she bought a $10 ticket for the 50X The Cash game – and was stunned to see the prize on her ticket. “I started screaming, hollering, and jumping up and down,” Sellers said.
