Snake Infestation in subdivision in Nixa

14 Park Place, a subdivision in the Nixa city limits, was recently found a large infestation of snakes on many property owners yards. It is thought that due to new construction going on in the area, has caused the snakes to move from their domain, in search of a new one.
Most of the snakes that have been found have been non-venomous in nature. There have been reports of a few venomous as well. If you encounter one of these snakes, please don’t try and capture it. Allow authorities to come out and catch them. There have been over 100 snakes caught so far. Be on the look out. They could be seen in driveways, yards, pools and indoors. They will crawl thru water pipes and be frightened when sitting down on the toilet.
