Gerad Briggs, 36 of Lauderdale, Mississippi is a suspect in connection to a hit and run that took place in Meridian, Mississippi on July 6th 2017. An elderly lady, who wished to remain anonymous, was on her way back from Walmart and that’s when a black Cheverlot truck driven by Mr. Briggs, rammed into the back of her vehicle. Her vehicle then proceeded to run into a ditch where she hit a tree. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where she found out she had broken both legs and her hip. She is recovering really well despite the circumstances, she just wants an explanation of why this man ran. Meridian police department is asking for your help in finding this suspect.
