Today, Dain Wilson is announcing a temporary break from his duties as Assistant General Manager for the Washington Capitals to celebrate and party during his much anticipated Birthday. Sources close to Channel 23 have informed us Dain has been working the phones Non-Stop since the close of the Capitals season trying to Undo the mistakes of Brian MacLellan. “I panicked and immediately called Dain for help,” MacLellan acknowledged. “He’s worked hard and has earned one day off to celebrate his big day.”
When the highly acclaimed “Hockey in the DMV” group site was contacted for comment, Leslie Gallahan noted, “We all wish Dain the temporary sanity he needs to celebrate…that guy is a party animal!” Susan Bailey chimed in, “I think we are looking at a day of Jeep riding and Dog playing!!!” Sean Hanigan closed the discussion noting, “Im worried about him. I’ve seen his affinity for the hard liquor…putting him in a room with that stuff is dangerous for anyone around him!”
Finally, Interim General Manager Kevin Hanigan commented, “We wish him a happy birthday, but in the end he has a LOT of work to do, so after this outburst of celebration, we can only hope he returns to form…without a scotch hangover. We don’t expect it, but we have to hope…”
