Tom Nihoul wins Bloomsday race ; sets record

SPOKANE (AP) Tom Nihoul, a 69 year old Washington State grad set a new world record in winning the recent Bloomsday race. Not only did he win his age class he won the race! His time was 23 minutes 16 seconds.

Phillip Langat from Kenya was favored but came in second. Langat said I had no idea an old white guy could more that fast. It was like a moose was chasing him.

The judges were testing Nihoul for steroid use.
