West Virginia counties to ban fishing

Martinsburg- The West Virginia Department of Natural Resources (DNR), has announced, Monday that there will be a complete ban on all sport fishing in all waters, in the following counties, starting Aug 1, 2017. Berkeley, Jefferson, Morgan, Hampshire, and Mineral county. The ban comes from recent test, concluded that the waters are far too polluted to allow further fishing of the waters. A DNR spokesperson said, “the amount of pollution in the panhandles waterways is catastrophic.” He also went on to say that the DNR also recommends that everyone stop swimming in the waters as well.
