The former Harry Potter star was found dead in his New York home after a close friend found him unresponsive in the early morning hours on the 15th of August
Authorities arrived and pronounced Daniel dead at 3:25 am. Police said no foul play was involved but the case remains open. Family of Daniel say he recently had issues with prescription drugs and alcohol and is the leading probable cause of death.
