Maryland man facing charges after child pornography found on several electronic devices

A Dundalk, Maryland man is facing charges after authorities found images and videos of child pornography on various electronic devices.

James Patrick Walton, 35, is facing sexual abuse of children charges.

On August 4th, police received a report of a possible possession of child pornography.

The complainant told Maryland State Police that his 13-year-old son had viewed possible child pornography on Walton’s computer.

After obtaining a search warrant, police searched Walton’s home on August 5.

Authorities seized an iPad, an iPhone, a desktop computer, and several memory cards.

In total 325 images appeared to contain subjects that were less than 18 years of age, and 82 videos appeared to contain subjects less than 18 years of age exposing their genitals or involved in sexual acts. There were also images and videos of children being penetrated by foreign objects and multiple images of rape of children committed by adults.
