Two men is being charged with attempted murder in Iberia Parish shooting

A Louisiana State Police spokesman said a two men has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after an overnight shooting that took the life of a new iberia man Sunday Night.Investigators with Louisiana State Police have arrested Jordan J. Hills, 21, of Cade Louisiana. According to LSP press release, Hills was with Keith Guillory when an Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy approached him Monday morning as the deputy investigated a possible overnight shooting. According to previous LSP reports, there was an altercation that left the deputy injured and Guillory fatally shot.The LSP spokesman said Hills was not with Guillory during the incident. Hills was charged with attempted first degree murder Guillory was charged with attempted first degree murder of a police officer , possesion of a stolen firearm , possession of methamphetamine , possession of Xanax .Hills And Guillory Has Been booked into the Iberia Parish Jail. Hills bond has been set to 100,000 Dollars While Guillory Bond Has Been Set To 600,000. This investigation remains active and ongoing, the spokesman said.
