On Thursday September 2017 the UK Met Office storm tracker showed that Jose could head towards the Georgia , California then Washington .
But the Met Office track has now changed direction and shows that Hurricane Jose will move along the East Coast without hitting land.
The NOAA National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other models suggest it will loop round futher and stay well out at sea.
The latest NHC map reflects the positive outlook and shows Jose turning out to sea by Sunday.
