Endangered Species: Flying Cottonmouth (Water Mocassin)

Help save this endangered species before it goes extinct! The flying moccasin (cottonmouth) can be found in the southern parts of the United States such as Florida. These snakes are semi-aquatic which means they tend to live most of their lives in water. Although they spend most of their lives in water they still can jump 10 feet high out of the water. This makes it look like they are flying in air. It is very rare to find this type of species because there are very few left. Just be careful if you do encounter one it is very venomous and if it feels threatened it will attack.
