Gonzales Teen Shot Near St. Amant High

Gonzales resident Jalen McBride was shot outside of St. Amant Highschool after what the sheriff believes to be a gang related incident. While recovering in the hospital McBride stated,” I don’t know what happened really. One second I was yelling at some guys in a car and the next I was on the ground bleeding.” McBride was shot four times with one shot hitting him in the shoulder, while the other three hit his abdominal area.
