Czech decathlonist Barbora Kindlova takes bronze

Promising Czech talent Barbora Kindlova keeps on rising. On World Championship in Moscow, she showed her strenght once again. Beating all the opponents in category of long jump, she managed to set a new world record 7.79 meters.
Kindlova, as a talented javelin thrower as she demonstrated herself last year in Soul, put an amazing throw of distance 76.23 meters.
She finished second in the 1 500 meters run acquiring total score of 6 841 points, which bring her out to beautiful third place.
“I grew in mountains as a child, so I have to walk a lot, because our school was in another village, 30 kilometres away and my grandfather’s horse carriage was always broken.” says Kindlova, 19 years old Czech athlete. And about her future plans? “(…) so I may let athletics down and I will focus on studies. I got accepted on Czech Agriculture University, so I will study to help in our family farm to help in taking care of a cattle.” Finishes Kindlova after her probably last finish.
And so it looks, that another sport career is going to be ruined by education.
