John Young, of Porters Lake Novia Scotia broke his own Guinness Record when he successfully swam the length of Porters Lake entirely underwater. The Lake, just over two klms long was calm on the day of the swim and boaters were advised to stay off the lake while John was swimming.
After achieving his heroic swim, John was greeted by his wife of forty years, Peggi who puts his achievement down to his “Wonderfull lungs”.
