Ontario College Strike continues with No End in Sight

Recently this morning the back to work legislation was terminated by the NDP yet again thus continuing what is now appearing to be an endless strike. The legislation was supposed to end the 5 week long strike, but sadly for 500,000 students this isn’t the case. Picketing will continue and bargaining will also, but students will not be returning to class until January of next year.

This is the first time in Ontario history that we ever lost part of a year due to a strike. Premier Kathleen Wynne is devastated by the outcome and is upset about the lose.

12,000 college faculty from 24 of Ontario colleges went on strike October 15th leaving roughly 500,000 student out of the classroom. Now student have officially lost the semester.
