Sam Smith Opens Up About His Battle With HIV *SHOCKING*: Culprit is Revealed!

The multi Grammy award winning singer opened up about his diagnosis of HIV, saying he feels like he’s “carrying the torch” for others battling the disease that causes AIDS.
“I feel like I’m carrying the torch,” Smith told ABC News’ Michael Strahan in an interview on “Good Morning America,” “for a lot of folks out there that are suffering from the same thing.”
The singer went public with his HIV diagnosis in November 2017, four years after he was first contracted with the disease from a man named Jonathan Lambert. He told Strahan that he feels “really good” to be free from this secret, as well as being able to warn others about this man and the dangers imposed.
