Waterbury school district teachers are on strike since November 7 2017 due to poor payment. The Teacher Association spokesman has said that until teachers get paid $25.99 the hour they will not go back to work. Parents are devastated. One parent even said that she was going to sue Waterbury Public School District. No phone calls can be made to parents because protesters broke all the electric lines contecting all the schools and the Waterbury School Districts office.
