A Waco man placed a Mclennan County Sheriffs deputy under arrest for forcing him to give up one of his constitutional rights, which in Texas is a third degree felony punishable from 2-10 years in prison. Greg Gauer 38, of Waco said while in the middle of a traffic stop a deputy demanded he give him consent to search his car or else go to jail. Gauer recorded the entire altercation on his cell phone. He is heard warning the deputy to stop breaking the law. The deputy is heard making the same threat and demand several times before Gauer finally steps out of his vehicle and places the deputy under citizens arrest.
