The FBI Officially Launches Investigation Against Child Abuse Depicted in Anime.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation launched an operation just recently to investigate suspected forms of child abuse depicted in Japanese animation. Although these animations depicting underage girls fall under the category of fiction, child abuse/child pornography is often portrayed in them. A new law is yet to pass in court to outlaw anything that pertains to this matter. In our best hopes to prevent easy access to content centered around child abuse, all sites with streaming content will be temporarily shut off for inspection and image sites with suspicious content will be looked at. After these laws take effect, the penalty for viewing content containing child abuse/child pornography will set you behind bars for up to 10 months of community service, or up to 15 months in prison.
