A message from the president startles even Mattis and Pence in these late hours only shortly after the merriments of the ball drop in NYC Time Square. So, what does that mean for the rest of us?

This Martial Law shall be enacted indefinitely this, the first day of January, 2018. F.E.M.A. in due diligence with U.S.H.S. shall hereinafter, have all and/or full authorization to secure the properties, assets, and persons of the United States Of America, for any mentioned or unmentioned reasons for the betterment, securing of national borders, peoples, properties and/or all topics and subtopics below herein, for the security and safety of the nation of this the United States Of America. Resisting this order is an act of treason and will be executed as such.
Your cooperation and duty as a citizen of this the United States Of America is now herein an obligation to citizenship rights & roles of this land and it’s borders.

As a journalist we are being advised and ordered to inform and alert our fellow country-persons, for the sake of law and order, now in effect, at 3:22am on this 1st day of January, 2018.
As fellow humans we are just as shook and terrified by this as you are at the moment.
We are trying to understand, what does this mean for our first day of the new year?
If one were so inclined to consider, we have a couple pressing questions like:
Wow, now what? What does living under Martial Law mean for Americans?
Will life move forward as normal?
