Bradford Hall – Top 40 Talent Jacksonville University’s Davis College of Business

As a fourth generation native of Jacksonville, Hall’s upbringing often reminds him that to whom much is given, much is expected. Family and mentors continuously encourage him to lead a life of excellence. Having such a strong foundation has enabled him to maintain a passion for excellence and service. Hall’s representation of JU extends beyond the campus to the greater community. He has committed countless hours to the students of his high school alma mater, Jean Ribault; teaching his mentees the importance of service, scholarship and excellence. These students have become de facto younger siblings to him. He counts it the greatest honor to model excellence in higher education and society, his ultimate goal for all of them. Being a member of the Education Committee of the NAACP Jacksonville Branch has uniquely positioned Hall to advocate tirelessly for literacy and business education in public schools. Business education is definitely underrepresented in public schools and if literacy rates do not rise, students’ decreasing ability to access business education is inevitable, Hall says.

Hall says his mission on this earth has become serving with excellence at all times. Whether it is achieving superior academic success or giving back to his community, he hopes his light will shine brightly.
