California State Flag to Change

The California State Legislature is considering a Bill (HR 69) to change the Official State flag of California, a move that is said to better represent the views and direction the citizens of California wish for their State.

The proposal to change the flag was first recommended by U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, who represents California’s 12th District, and Congresswoman Maxine ‘Mad Max’ Waters, the Representative from California’s 43rd District.

The Bill was introduced in the California House in December of last year, and was passed by the Democrat majority. The passage of the Bill in the House allows the Bill to be sent to the California Senate for final passage, and then onto Governor Brown’s office, where it is predicted Governor Brown will sign the Bill into Law.
