Miami Police Arrest 7-Year-Old Boy For Punching Teacher, Teacher Plans To Press Charges

A 7-year-old boy was taken away in handcuffs after allegedly punching a teacher repeatedly. According to the @MiamiHerald, the first grader was initially removed from the school cafeteria for playing with his food and taken to a hallway where the young boy allegedly attacked a teacher.
Although the boy had been restrained, eye witnesses confirm he continued to punch and kick the teacher until they both fell to the ground. The teacher is planning to press charges against the child as of now. However, the parents of the young boy are also looking into legal representation. It seems the parents have already met with lawyers to evaluate possible legal action against Miami-Date School district and police. Citing his arrest was traumatizing for their son and unnecessary. The boy was also hospitalized after his arrest and underwent a psychiatric evaluation without the consent of his parents.
