Beatrice, Ne. – Beateice police are searching for the two men who shot and killed a father inside his home early Wednesday. The Gage County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as 36-year-old Ed Meinke of Beatrice.
Tacoma police say two men came to an apartment complex in the 800 block of North 6th Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and forced their way into Meinke’s apartment where he was sleeping with his children . They shot and killed him and stole money.
