Many Clark Atlanta University students could be found engaging in a variety of activities during the week of March 12th. These activities included scouring the globe for new passport stamps; partying poolside in Miami; picking up extra shifts at work; catching up on sleep; eating home-cooked meals and visiting family; volunteering as change-agents; or simply preparing for the real world after graduation. On 17 March 2018, Aaliyah Anderson had the opportunity to witness which she described as a scary experience because spent her spring break overcoming her fear of amusement rides. Anderson visited the Atlanta Fair that is happening now through mid-April, with her best friend, Toni. Her mind was set on getting one of her favorites, cotton candy, but soon was faced with the challenges of her fear of rides. The first ride Anderson got on she cried until she was able to get off, and although she wasn’t too thrilled about riding anymore of the rides, she managed to build up the courage to ride three more. With a reasonable prices $25 for 25 tickets, anyone can visit the Atlanta Fair to overcome their fears as well.
