People will be forced to leave the Forest of Dean by 2020

MP’s will convene at the House of Commons this week to debate and work out how to enforce an ancient right which was decreed in the statute books in the Dean Forest in 1838.
The ancient statute declared by Queen Victoria states that all people living in the Royal Forest of Dean who do not hold a valid fern ticket because they were not born within the hundredth must be relocated from the Forest of Dean by 2020.
Whilst many experts believe the government may approach the Queen regarding this matter to ask for the statute to be repealed, the local conservative MP for the Forest of Dean Mark Harper has stated that plans will be put in place to relocate people to Gloucester if the queen refuses the governments request.
