DeKalb County Man Charged With Shoplifting Sex Toys

A DeKalb County, Indiana man caught shoplifting two sex toys from a Boudoir Noir store on Ft. Wayne’s north side told police that he had enough money for the items, but was “too embarrassed” to pay for them at the cashier.

According to police, Jimmy Bauman was in the Boudoir Noir store on Coldwater Road Thursday evening when a manager spotted him removing an Arouz’d® screw rectal plug from its packaging. Police reported that Bauman then tucked the item in the front of his jeans. Bauman allegedly did the same with an Arouz’d® stroker can.

After walking around and browsing various other items in the store for about 45 minutes, Bauman exited the business with the purloined rectal plug and the ‘ridged tunnel stroker’, which officers valued at a combined $69.96.

Bauman, who was collared by store security, admitted to stealing the screw rectal plug and stroker can, noted police. Bauman further stated that he had enough money on him but he was too embarrassed to pay for them because they were sex toys.

Bauman, who is listed as a farmer as per the Allen County jail’s records, was charged with shoplifting, a misdemeanor, and booked into the county jail (from which he was later released on a $5000 bond).

The police report indicates the sex toys were seized as evidence.
