A suspect is in custody after a fight broke out on 22nd and Niagara avenue yesterday night.The suspect 20 year old Ashley Williams was taken into custody today at her school following a fight from yesterday night. She is accused of stabbing a female in the face and the chest.When police arrived she had fled the scene driving a black ford fusion with liscence plate numbers GDF1652.An ambulance was called by a police officer that responded to the call of a report of a fight and a subject with a knife.The victim was laying on the corner in the grass unconscious.When the ambulance arrived the victim was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center where she had later been pronounced dead.Ashley is now charged with 1st degree murder,1st degree assault with a weapon,and fleeing the scene.She will appear in Niagara Falls city court tomorrow morning.
